Every student in HS Reading Lab will be assigned an online reading intervention program and asked to spend an average of 50 minutes/day on that program. Online intervention programs that are available include options that focus on Reading fluency, phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, or a combination of those. All programs “level” the difficulty level of the reading instruction and practice to the student’s current needs. The intention is for students to increase their reading skills and confidence through explicit instruction and/or practice at the specific skills that will benefit them.
